Hosting on New Doors PH
Turn your beach house, condo, villa, farm, or events space into steady income. Here is how hosting works and what it costs.
How listing works
- Create a host account. Sign up from the home page, and your account can be upgraded to host status once your first property is submitted.
- Add your property. Photos, description, nightly rate, guest limit, and amenities. Honest listings earn better reviews, and better reviews earn more bookings.
- Review booking requests. New bookings arrive as Pending in your dashboard. Approve or decline them, and chat with guests directly if you have questions.
- Host your guests. Handle check-in, be reachable during the stay, and keep the place as described. That is the whole job.
- Get paid. Payouts are released after guest check-in via bank transfer or GCash.
What makes a listing perform
- Bright, honest photos taken in daylight, at least four per property.
- A description that answers real questions: sleeping arrangements, parking, WiFi speed, distance to landmarks.
- Fast responses. Listings whose hosts reply within a few hours book noticeably more.
- Accurate calendars. Nothing tanks a rating like a host cancelling a confirmed stay.
Pricing guide
You set your own nightly rate and keep control of it at all times. On top of your rate, guests pay a 10% cleaning fee and a 12% service fee, which are shown to them transparently at checkout. A 3% platform commission is deducted from your payout.
| Line item | Who pays | Amount |
|---|---|---|
| Nightly rate | Guest | Set by you |
| Cleaning fee | Guest | 10% of subtotal |
| Service fee | Guest | 12% of subtotal |
| Platform commission | Host | 3% of subtotal |
When setting your rate, check what comparable places in your area charge for similar capacity and amenities, then price within that band. Underpricing fills your calendar but caps your income; overpricing leaves it empty.
